Line Trimmer assembly guide

The above picture shows how to hold the gear head so you can wind on the line trimmer head or mount the brush cutter blade. Align the hole in the outer cover plate with the hole on the inner spline spacer and lock together by placing a screw driver or allen key through both holes.

To attach the line trimmer head, screw this directly onto the threaded stud with only the first spline spacer installed. Note the stepped recess on the spacer, this will centralize the line trimmer head and brush cutter blade when installed. Remember the thread is a left hand type, not normal right handed.

Next add the spacer that is slightly domed on top as shown in the above picture

Next add the large dished plate, this protects the nut and end of the shaft from damage while in use

Next add the washer and nut, tighten using the spark plug tool as shown above, and remember you will need to lock the gear head shaft as shown previously to be able to get a secure tightness. Install the split pin and you are finished.
